Statistical Process Control (SPC) is considered as the bedrock for perfections achieved in service and manufacturing industries. Promoted by manufacturing industries in Japan, SPC has been accepted as one of the most useful tools for process control and analysis in service industries as well as in academia.

The course module is designed to provide knowledge on fundamental concepts of SPC and its application in industries as the mathematical part is mostly taken care by various software programmes now a days. Process Capability and Process Performance study has been discussed in detail at the end to elucidate the concept further.
